Day - 12: Sunday, June 7, 2015
Starting Location: At Sea En-route to Oslo, Norway
Ending Location: At Sea En-route to Oslo, Norway
Days at sea offer a nice break in what can become a routine of early wake-up calls followed by disciplined adherence to tour schedules and forced marches through one of many medieval European towns with different names but similarly looking cathedrals and cobble stone streets.
As you might guess from the prevalence of boating and ship photos, I do enjoy the days on the water, especially seeing the scenic shorelines and watching the huge variety of boat traffic in and around the harbor cities.
One of the more entertaining events today was the "Culinary Demonstration". The two chefs put on a good show, filled with "chef humor" and banter all the while preparing samples of dishes as served throughout the ship's restaurants.

This far north with the summer solstice approaching, the days are long. The sun actually set after 10 PM and even at midnight the day glow was still on the horizon.
